Capel and Bragg is a writing duo. Two friends who met at National Youth Theatre over thirty years ago have come together to write for theatre and screen.

Formed during covid, Capel & Bragg wrote their first play in May 2020: a one-woman show highlighting the struggles and absurdities of life under government lockdown. Corona Daze premiered at The Edinburgh Fringe in summer 2023 before moving to London for a short run at The Hen & Chickens Theatre Pub the following year.

Their second play, The Union, is a seven-part comedy drama set in a student union and is currently being circulated to theatres. The Red Army Is Marching, a one-woman show about Bloody Everything, has been submitted to the Soho Theatre’s Verity Bargate Award and is under consideration.
